Academy Week 3 Recap

Week 3 of UCFD#1's 13-week academy wrapped last week with a focus on training in medical procedures and practicing skills in simulated EMS scenarios.

As one of 13 regional HazMat response teams in the state of Oregon, the academy class also received Hazardous Materials Training with HazMat Coordinator Ryan Campbell. This included a demo on how to properly "decontaminate" after a scene involving hazardous materials.
