August Call Breakdown

This August, UCFD#1 crew responded to a total of 619 calls for service; 444 of these calls (72%) occurred with at least one other emergency in progress, stretching our resources and available personnel.

Crews responded to 498 medical calls - including 27 motor vehicle accidents - 19 fire calls, 44 good intent calls, 26 service calls, 27 false alarms, and 5 hazardous conditions. UCFD#1 averaged 20 calls daily, a 21% increase from August 2024.

UCFD#1 requested ambulatory resources from surrounding mutual aid agencies in six of these incidents. Thank you to those agencies for their ongoing assistance when our resources are stretched thin.

As call volume increases, UCFD#1 remains committed to providing our community with the highest level of care possible with the resources available.
