Description of occupancy: Properties in the area of the Umatilla river and I-82

I84 is currently closed. ODOT has been closing it at various locations as far as LaGrande to Exit 182, which is the HWY 207 interchange.

Circumstances found on arrival, actions taken: Units responded to assist with evacuation alerts to the are of Coe and Stanfield meadows Rd. After arrival the event continued to increase and water was noted to be involving numerous areas. I-84 was noted to have motorist stranded. During rescue efforts an MVA occurred and overturned a Semi. The Driver was rescued by Rope and extricated to safety. Other motorists were also rescued by direct personnel though the high water.
Homes were evacuated and numerous persons taken to safety. Currently there is a staging location set up at UCFD #1 St.24 in Stanfield for those effected. This is an active situation and areas involved are expanding. Road closures will continue in the area.

Injuries, rescues and other information of interest: No injuries noted.
