Oct. 7th Incident Release- Tractor Trailer Snaps Power Pole

At approximately 3:50PM, UCFD#1 responded to a motor vehicle accident at Sagebrush & E Punkin Center in Hermiston.

Upon arrival, crews discovered that a trailer hauling an oversized load had caught a power line, snapping the pole. No injuries were reported.

Umatilla Electric Cooperative quickly arrived on-scene to attend to the broken powerline and keep the scene safe while the trailer was removed from the roadway.
