September Call Breakdown 

Last month, UCFD#1 responded to 541 incidents, marking a 2% increase compared to September 2024. Of these calls, 81% (440) were emergency medical services, treating a total of 425 patients.

Notably, 69% of calls occurred while at least one other emergency was already in progress, continuing to emphasize the importance of adequate staffing and effective resource allocation. On average, crews responded to 18 incidents per day.

Throughout the month, UCFD#1 continued to collaborate closely with neighboring fire agencies, including Boardman Fire Rescue District, Pendleton Fire & Ambulance, Echo Fire Department, and Umatilla Rural Fire Protection District, to provide & receive mutual aid to ensure high-quality service throughout the region.
