Due to the Covid-19 outbreak the Fourth of July festivities have been modified. To follow the social distancing guidelines, the regular activities conducted on the fourth have been cancelled. The events that are cancelled are as follows, The Firefighters Breakfast, The Parade, and All activities held at the park.
Umatilla County Fire District #1 is still lighting fireworks at dark. The location where the fireworks are being shot from has changed. We will be lighting fireworks from the football field at the Horyna Athletic Complex. We are asking that people continue to follow social distancing practices, and to also stay out of any area that we have taped off for safety purposes.
